Our work on behalf of Sgt. Reckless was recently the focus of Audacy’s Connecting Veterans News.  Author Julia Le Doux interviewed retired US Marine Corps tank commander Dylan Clark about the inspiration behind his initiative to provide Sgt. Reckless with the veterans benefit that Sgt. Reckless has earned: to be buried in a national cemetery.  Clark described accomplishments which qualify Sgt. Reckless for burial at a national cemetery, including Arlington: “During the course of that battle, she was wounded twice but she refused to stop running back to the front and bringing back her Marines.”  The United States Marine Corps officially awarded Sgt. Reckless with a Purple Heart and one star for her two wounds sustained during the battle.  As a veteran and Purple Heart recipient, Sgt. Reckless qualifies for national cemetery burial, including at Arlington National Cemetery.  The full article is available here.
